Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has served as legal counsel to Pharmakon Advisors, LP and its affiliated funds in a recent credit agreement with Precigen, Inc. The deal provides up to $125 million in committed, non-dilutive financing for the biopharmaceutical company. The funding will be distributed across two tranches.
Precigen focuses on developing precision medicines aimed at improving patient outcomes. Pharmakon Advisors is known for its investments in the healthcare sector.
