Cheng to its Los Angeles office as a partner in both the Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group and the Liability Management and Special Situations Practice Group. Scott J. Cheng is recognized for his expertise in finance law, particularly in leading transactions related to rescue and distressed financing. Andrew Cheng specializes in distressed-related financings such as rescue financings, DIP financings, liability management transactions, restructuring of syndicated secured credit facilities, and sponsor-side acquisition financings. Before rejoining Gibson Dunn, he was a partner at another international law firm after previously serving as a partner at Gibson Dunn.
