Boomi has announced its acquisition of Thru, Inc., a company known for providing enterprise-grade Managed File Transfer solutions. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing Boomi’s capabilities in file-based integration within its cloud-native platform, which efficiently manages data movement across APIs, applications, and files. The acquisition was revealed in a press release dated May 15.

Boomi serves over 23,000 customers worldwide and is recognized as a leader in AI-driven automation. The company assists organizations in automating and streamlining essential processes to achieve faster business outcomes.

The legal team from Ropes & Gray advising Boomi on this transaction included private equity partner James Davis and associate Jeremy Zucker. Other key members were employment partner Stephanie Bruce, IP transactions partner Emily Karlberg, executive compensation & employee benefits partner Matt Jones, tax partner Tristan Evans-Wilent, and regulatory partners Jonathan Klarfeld and Brendan Hanifin.
