Cadwalader’s London Leveraged Finance & Private Credit team has achieved a high ranking in the latest 9fin private credit law firm league tables for 2025. The firm was ranked second as European lender counsel for the second half of 2025, with 15 lender-side mandates.

In addition to this achievement, Cadwalader also placed in the top ten across several other categories. These include tenth place for total U.S.-European deals, eighth for total lender counsel U.S.-European deals, seventh for total European deals, and fourth for second-half total European deals.

9fin compiles these rankings based on proprietary data and feedback from market participants. According to Cadwalader, “These results reflect the phenomenal efforts of our London practice, including a remarkable pace of deal activity during the second half of 2025, closing multiple deals for some of the most active European private credit funds.”
