Morgan Lewis has provided legal representation to Emergency Care Partners (ECP) in a growth recapitalization deal, which includes a $100 million preferred equity investment led by MidOcean Partners. ECP offers emergency medicine services to hospitals across the United States, currently operating in eight states and serving 1.5 million patient visits annually.

MidOcean Partners, based in New York, is an alternative asset manager that focuses on middle-market private equity, alternative credit, and structured equity.

The legal team from Morgan Lewis involved in this transaction included partners Allison Gargano and Tara McElhiney along with associate James Preston.
