Gibson Dunn has played a significant role in advising Blue Owl Digital Infrastructure Advisors, a subsidiary of Blue Owl Capital Inc., on the formation of their latest fund. The newly established Blue Owl Digital Infrastructure Fund III is dedicated to investments in data centers and other technology and connectivity-related real assets. This fund successfully closed at its hard cap, securing $7 billion in aggregate capital commitments.
The advisory team from Gibson Dunn was led by Shukie Grossman, Global Chair of the firm’s Investment Funds Practice Group. The team also included partner Kira Idoko, of counsel Robert Harrington, and associates Alex Chang, Kevin Chapman, Rachel Spinka, and Jeff Xu. For tax-related advice, partner Brian Kniesly along with associates Jennifer Fitzgerald and Duncan Hamilton were involved. Additionally, partner Michael Collins provided guidance on benefits.
