Greenberg Traurig’s Alan T. Dimond and his wife, Vivian, have been recognized as 2025 Silver Medallion honorees by Mosaic Miami during its 90th annual Humanitarian Dinner. The award acknowledges their commitment to fostering an inclusive community in Miami.
Mosaic Miami has been honoring community leaders since 1946 with the Humanitarian Silver Medallion Award. “Alan has an incredible ability to inspire those around him while making a meaningful difference. His dedication to improving the lives of others and driving positive change has had a lasting impact on our community and the legal profession,” stated Yosbel A. Ibarra, co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office and chair of Mosaic Miami.
Dimond’s leadership extends across various community organizations, including chairing the Jackson Memorial Hospital Foundation and serving on boards for United Way and Baptist Health. Both he and his wife have received recognition from several organizations such as the Coalition of South Florida Muslims, the Muslim Bar Association, and the American Jewish Committee for their humanitarian efforts.
In addition to this recent honor, Dimond was awarded the Daily Business Review’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to both the legal field and South Florida community. He was also named a Power Leader in Corporate Philanthropy by the South Florida Business Journal.
Dimond brings over 50 years of experience in commercial and real estate-related litigation as a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office. He also served as president of The Florida Bar from 1992-1993.
