Companies involved in life sciences development financings and royalty monetization transactions need to look beyond immediate financial concerns, according to an upcoming webinar featuring professionals from WilmerHale, Ernst & Young, and J. Wood Capital Advisors. The session will cover the broader strategic, legal, and accounting consequences of such deals.
Speakers George Shuster and Nathan Moore from WilmerHale, John Cantalupo and Larry Yusuf from Ernst & Young, and Ted Breck and Alton Lo from J. Wood Capital Advisors will address issues including how these transactions can impact future debt, equity, or merger-and-acquisition activities. The discussion will also consider the effect on market capitalization as well as the long-term economic and legal implications of these financing arrangements. The panel aims to provide insight into combining various financing options into a cohesive strategy.
The webinar is designed to allow participants to submit questions online during the event.
WilmerHale is accredited by both New York State and California State Continuing Legal Education Boards as a provider of continuing legal education (CLE). The program is intended to offer CLE credit for attendees joining live in California and non-transitional credit for experienced attorneys in New York. Attendees may also be eligible for CPD credit in England & Wales.
WilmerHale has approval as a Colorado Certified Provider; requests for Colorado CLE credit can be submitted after the program. Credit eligibility is determined by the Colorado Supreme Court Continuing Legal and Judicial Education Committee. New Jersey recognizes reciprocal credit for programs approved in New York, while Connecticut credit can also be issued.
All attendees receive a uniform certificate of attendance listing approved jurisdictions; this certificate may help those seeking CLE credits in other locations apply independently. On-demand recordings of the webinar do not qualify for CLE credits.
