Ropes & Gray has advised Littlejohn & Co. on its acquisition of RailPros, a company that provides engineering and field services for the railroad industry. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Littlejohn & Co., an investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut, manages approximately $8 billion in regulatory assets.

The Ropes & Gray team involved in this acquisition included several partners: Jessica Murray and Garrett Charon from private equity, Danna Kivell from executive compensation and employee benefits, Tristan Evans-Wilent from tax, Jordan Altman from IP transactions, Jackie Grise Lester and Emerson Siegle from litigation and enforcement, David Kaye from real estate, and Peter Alpert from environmental matters.
