Global law firm White & Case LLP has provided legal counsel to Lunate, an asset manager based in Abu Dhabi, for its acquisition of a strategic stake in Azura Partners. Azura is known for serving ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and single-family offices.

The investment aligns with Lunate’s strategy to expand into high-growth areas like wealth management. It will help Azura grow its assets under management, recruit top talent, adopt advanced technology, and diversify its product offerings. Clients will gain improved access to private market opportunities.

“This investment will advance Lunate’s strategic ambitions and further strengthen Azura’s ability to provide high quality services to its clients,” stated Steven Worthington, a partner at White & Case who led the firm’s team on this transaction. “The transaction also illustrates White & Case’s strong global capabilities and cross-border expertise.”

Azura plans to move its headquarters from Monaco to Abu Dhabi, taking advantage of the infrastructure and regulatory environment at the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

The advisory team from White & Case was headed by Steven Worthington in Abu Dhabi. The team included local partner Adnan Bekdur from Dubai and associates Hugh Brunjes and James Fox in Abu Dhabi. They were supported by partners William Watson in Dubai; Jonathan Rogers and Anneka Randhawa; counsel Laura Kitchen all based in London; as well as associates Gabrielle Margerison in Dubai and Isabella Bertolini in London.
