Milbank LLP has announced the addition of Adam Brenneman as a partner in its office, enhancing the firm’s Corporate Finance and Securities Group and Latin America practices.

“We are excited to welcome Adam to the firm,” stated Milbank Chairman. “Adam is a versatile and technically excellent lawyer, and his deep knowledge of LatAm capital markets and financing coupled with his experience advising on US domestic matters will further strengthen our highly regarded Corporate Finance and Securities Groups.”

Brenneman’s practice covers diverse capital markets, corporate, and finance matters, including equity and debt capital markets, bank financings, corporate transactions, and restructurings. He focuses mainly on Latin American transactions across various industries while also providing support on US capital markets issues. His expertise includes SEC-registered and sovereign financings, acting as counsel for several Latin American companies regarding their corporate governance and ongoing SEC reporting obligations.

“Adam is widely regarded as one of the top corporate finance and securities practitioners in the Latin America region,” said Marcelo Mottesi, chair of Milbank’s Corporate Finance and Securities Group and co-head of the firm’s Latin America Group. “Our team has advised on many transformative transactions in Latin America in recent years, and we continue to expand our reach. The addition of Adam underscores our commitment to the region.”

Previously a partner at Cleary Gottlieb in their Latin America and Capital Markets practices, Brenneman holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from George Washington University.
