Milbank LLP partner Dara Panahy recently moderated a panel at the SmallSat Europe conference, held on May 27, 2025, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The panel was titled “Trends in Financing and Fundraising in Europe: Institutional, Government & Agencies.” Joining Mr. Panahy were representatives from the European Investment Bank, Bpifrance, European Space Agency, and ING.
Mr. Panahy leads Milbank’s Space Business practice globally. His work includes representing satellite and space infrastructure operators, aerospace manufacturers, launch services providers, communications companies, banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds. He is involved in various financial activities such as debt and equity offerings, project financing, structured and vendor financings, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings as well as negotiating commercial contracts. Additionally, he co-authors Milbank’s monthly Space Business Review newsletter.
The SmallSat Europe conference runs from May 27-28 and gathers leaders from the SmallSat industry worldwide. It features technological innovators along with regulatory and finance experts to present contemporary content aimed at helping professionals understand the global marketplace better.
