Milbank LLP partners Alexandra Johnson and Patrick Campbell are set to moderate panels at the SCI Annual Esoteric ABS Seminar on May 13 in New York City.

Alexandra Johnson, who leads the firm’s Transportation and Space practice globally, will oversee the “Transportation ABS: Aircraft, Leasing, Shipping & Trucks” panel. Discussions will focus on the revival of the aircraft ABS market in 2025, influenced by changes in global air traffic and aircraft demand. Other topics include transparency in aircraft ABS valuations, private markets as alternatives to traditional transport ABS, and growth sub-sectors such as equipment leasing and container shipping. Johnson’s expertise spans aviation and digital infrastructure across various international transactions.

Patrick Campbell will lead the “Digital Infrastructure” panel. The session will cover issues related to data centers within the ABS and CMBS markets, tower issuances, small cell deployments, and AI-driven demand expansion. Campbell’s practice is centered on transactional matters in digital infrastructure for companies ranging from fiber optics to media.

The seminar aims to address key developments across esoteric asset classes like digital infrastructure, energy, IP rights, transportation, and corporate finance. It will also discuss securitization’s role in data centers and 5G infrastructure and factors contributing to the recovery of aircraft-backed deals this year.
