Morgan Lewis has advised Kemira Oyj in its acquisition of SIDRA Wasserchemie for approximately €75 million, which is about $88.95 million. The deal is subject to standard purchase price adjustments.
Kemira provides chemical solutions designed for industries that use large amounts of water. Its products and services are aimed at improving product quality, processes, and resource efficiency for a variety of customers. SIDRA Wasserchemie, the company being acquired, is a family-owned producer of coagulants with two production sites in Germany. It supplies customers in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
