Ropes & Gray has acted as legal advisor to Baillie Gifford in the recent $450 million Series G funding round for Rippling, a workforce management platform. The announcement of this transaction was made on May 9.

Baillie Gifford is known as an independent investment partnership managing £217 billion in assets as of December 31, 2024. The firm focuses on investing in companies, both public and private, that demonstrate potential for sustained growth and returns over periods ranging from five to ten years or more.

The advisory team from Ropes & Gray was led by private equity partner Adam Leamon and strategic transactions associate Joe Muller. They were supported by litigation & enforcement partners Emerson Siegle and Ama Adams.
