Ropes & Gray served as legal advisors to the underwriters in Morgan Stanley Direct Lending Fund’s recent public offering. The transaction involved $350 million in aggregate principal amount of registered investment-grade notes, which are due in 2030. The deal was finalized on May 19.

Morgan Stanley Direct Lending Fund is focused on generating attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing primarily in directly originated senior secured term loans from U.S. middle market companies.

The team managing the deal was led by capital markets partner Paul Tropp.
