Ropes & Gray will host its annual reception during the 2025 BIO International Convention in Boston. The event offers an opportunity for networking among life sciences industry leaders and will take place at Woods Hill Pier 4 on June 17, from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM EST.

Hannah England, a partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, is set to participate as a panelist in two breakout sessions at the convention. The first session, titled “Bridging the Biodata Gap: Revolutionizing AI’s Impact in Biopharma by Creating ‘Digital Twins’ of the Natural World,” will occur on June 17 from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM. This discussion will address how biopharma companies are using digital twins to capture biological signals that enhance genome and protein design.

Panelists for this session include John Finn, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer at Basecamp Research; Patrick Schwab, PhD, Senior Director of Machine Learning and AI at GSK; and Ashley Zehnder, DVM, PhD, Co-Founder and CEO of Fauna Bio. Chelsea Sumner, PharmD from NVIDIA will moderate.

The second session titled “Structuring Partnerships for Success in Vaccine Development” is scheduled for June 18 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM. This panel aims to explore successful partnership strategies within vaccine development.

Panelists for this discussion include Tom Davidson from Leerink Partners; Laurie Gery from Sanofi; Elaine O’Hara from Novavax; Ryan Spencer from Dynavax; along with Hannah England. A health reporter yet to be confirmed will moderate the session.

These sessions aim to provide insights into innovative approaches and strategic partnerships in biopharma and vaccine development.
