Squire Patton Boggs has been recognized as one of the top 30 employers for working families in 2025 by Working Families, a UK charity that supports working parents and carers. The recognition is based on an assessment using the Working Families’ Benchmark, which evaluates organizations on their integration of family-friendly policies into strategy and culture, policy development and implementation, consistency in supporting flexible work, and the ability to measure outcomes.
The firm offers several resources aimed at supporting employees with family responsibilities. These include ‘My Family Hub,’ which provides guides and resources; a Carers Policy and Toolkit for short-term support; a Carers Concierge Service; and the ‘MyWellbeing’ programme, which gives access to information on career, health, family matters, finances, and community topics. Additionally, Squire Patton Boggs runs a global mentoring programme that includes wellbeing as a key area where mentees can seek guidance from mentors.
This year also saw the launch of a campaign by Squire Patton Boggs that shares real-life stories from staff about their experiences at the firm.
Jonathan Jones, European managing partner at Squire Patton Boggs, stated: “As part of our commitment to creating a flexible and family friendly working environment, we focus on an individual’s journey at the firm, encouraging colleagues to pursue their personal and professional goals with the support they need for a long-lasting, rewarding career with us.”
Jane van Zyl, CEO of Working Families added: “Our Top Employers are a powerful reminder that there are employers who are already forging a path for family-friendly and flexible working that others can follow, safe in the knowledge that not only will their business not suffer, but it will thrive. Supporting carers, finding flexibility in job roles, and encouraging change from the top, as our Benchmark employers do, all add up to create inclusive workforces where everyone is empowered to work at their best.”
