Squire Patton Boggs has played a key role in advising Trajan on its recent acquisition of the OCR Group. Trajan, known for its focus on capital and management transfers for French SMEs, has acquired the entirety of OCR Group from its previous owners Olivier Faure, Guy Arpino, and Raphaël Bouchet.

In this acquisition process, Trajan has collaborated with Laurène Debesse, who will take on the role of managing director. The advisory team from Squire Patton Boggs included Charles Fabry and Anthony Guillaume as partners in Corporate, supported by associate Victor Dransard. Additionally, Benjamin Marché, a partner in Financial Services, was assisted by associate Yasmina Taki.

OCR Group was founded in 1995 by three engineers and has become a prominent name in consulting and services related to uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS). The company handles over 3,500 UPS systems for various businesses primarily within the tertiary sector including offices, hospitals, schools and other public institutions as well as logistics centers, small data centers, and transport infrastructure.
