The upcoming webinar titled “Hong Kong Employment 101” will provide an in-depth look at the legal principles governing employment relationships in Hong Kong. Scheduled for June 17, 2025, in the Asia-Pacific region and June 16, 2025, in the U.S., this session aims to equip employers and professionals with a comprehensive understanding of their responsibilities within Hong Kong’s legal framework.
The program will cover various topics, including key statutes such as the Employment Ordinance, different types of employment contracts, statutory entitlements like rest days and leave allowances, and lawful termination practices. It will also address employee rights concerning workplace safety and anti-discrimination laws.
Participants will gain insights into dispute resolution mechanisms available through bodies like the Labour Department and Equal Opportunities Commission. The session is designed for HR Directors, Employment Counsel, General Counsel, and others responsible for workforces in Hong Kong.
