Global law firm White & Case LLP is advising Crown Capital Holdings LLC and its affiliates on their Chapter 11 restructuring in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The company’s Chapter 11 filing will facilitate the restructuring of more than $200 million of bond indebtedness. This process will allow the company to obtain financing to support the rehabilitation of its affordable housing assets in Louisiana and Pennsylvania. It will also enable the recapitalization of the company’s affordable housing properties and establish a creditor recovery vehicle to pursue valuable claims and causes of action against certain insiders and other parties for the benefit of the company’s unsecured creditors.

The White & Case team is led by Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Partner Gregory Pesce, based in Chicago. The team includes associates Barrett Lingle from New York, Alonso Aquije, Adam Swingle both in Chicago, Gabriela Delgado from Miami; Real Estate partner David Viklund and associate Nadine Pepin both based in New York; along with Litigation partner Samuel Hershey and associate Lucas Curtis also located in New York.
