Global law firm White & Case LLP has played a key advisory role for Dream Games, a prominent developer and publisher of mobile games Royal Match and Royal Kingdom. The firm assisted Dream Games with securing a strategic investment from CVC, an influential global alternative asset management organization. Through this transaction, CVC becomes Dream Games’ sole equity partner. The new partnership will also facilitate an exit for Dream Games’ initial venture capital partners after over five years of involvement. Additionally, Blackstone and other investors are set to provide debt financing for the transaction.

The legal guidance from White & Case was led by a team of partners and associates across multiple offices, showcasing an extensive international collaboration. The team was headed by partners Emre Özşar in Istanbul and Marcus Booth, local partner Adnan Bekdur both based in Dubai, along with counsel Aslı Gülüm also in Istanbul. Key contributors included partners Jan Jensen and Shane McDonald in Dubai, Jeremy Duffy, Will Smith, and Ateş Turnaoğlu in Istanbul, local partner Philip Vavalidis in Dubai, and counsel Sezin Elçin in Istanbul. Associates involved hailed from several global locations, reflecting the cross-border nature of the transaction.

Support for the transaction also came from partners like Kim Havlin and Scott Fryman in New York, Charles Balmain, Lindsey Canning, Michael Evans, Anneka Randhawa, John Rogerson, and John Timmons in London, and several others from Washington, DC, Brussels, and Düsseldorf. Their collective efforts underscored the depth of White & Case’s international expertise in guiding complex global investment dealings.
