Global law firm White & Case LLP has provided legal advice to D.V.I. Deutsche Vermögens- und Immobilienverwaltungs GmbH (DVI), a German real estate company, on the issuance of its first green bond. The bond, valued at €350 million, is listed on the Official List of The International Stock Exchange. It carries a fixed coupon rate of 4.875% and will mature in 2030.

White & Case also assisted DVI with a concurrent tender offer for the cash acquisition of its outstanding 2.500% €350 million bond due in 2027. The funds raised from the new green bond will be used to finance this tender offer and support the refinancing of certain eligible green projects as per DVI’s Green Finance Framework.

The advisory team from White & Case’s Frankfurt office was co-led by partner Rebecca Emory and local partner Peter Becker. Other team members included partners Gernot Wagner, Karsten Wöckener, Sébastien Seele, and associates Jan-Christopher Wilhelms and Hüseyin Sarigül.
