White & Case LLP has provided legal counsel to Masimo Corporation regarding its agreement to be acquired by Danaher Corporation. The deal values Masimo at US$180 per share in cash, totaling approximately US$9.9 billion.
The law firm’s team advising on the transaction included Richard Brand, a partner specializing in mergers and acquisitions; Sasha Belinkie, a partner focusing on employment, compensation and benefits; and Kasey Lee, an associate—all based in New York. Debt finance partners Yehuda Rubel and Justin Wagstaff also contributed from New York. Other members of the team were M&A partners Matthew Barnett (Los Angeles) and Erica Hogan (New York), along with associate Nicholas Luciano (New York). Capital markets associate Melissa Curvino and international law clerk Anurag Chadha, both based in New York, were also involved.
