Global law firm White & Case LLP has provided legal counsel to Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. (Bank Pekao) in connection with its issuance of PLN 750 million subordinated capital bonds. The transaction is valued at approximately €175.5 million.
The bonds were made available to qualified investors through a non-prospectus public offering and have been introduced for trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange’s alternative trading system.
White & Case’s advisory role encompassed obtaining approval from the Financial Supervision Authority for the bonds to be recognized as Tier II instruments of the issuer.
