Global law firm White & Case LLP has played a crucial role in the US$241.5 million upsized initial public offering (IPO) of Perimeter Acquisition Corp. I, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). The law firm advised the sole book-running manager on this financial undertaking, which also included the full exercise of the underwriter’s over-allotment option.
Perimeter Acquisition Corp. I is targeting companies in sectors such as defense, national security, and technology for potential business combinations. White & Case’s Capital Markets practice, known for its SPAC expertise and ranked Band 1 by Chambers Global 2024, has previously handled more than 175 SPAC IPOs worth over US$55 billion and more than 80 de-SPAC transactions valued at over US$125 billion.
The legal team from White & Case was led by Capital Markets partners Daniel Nussen based in Los Angeles and Joel Rubinstein in New York. They were supported by associate Brandon Wong from Houston, along with Tax partner Scott Fryman and associate Nir Fishbien, both based in New York.
