Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP has announced that Patrick R. Hanchey has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate & Financial Services Department, based in Dallas. Hanchey brings experience advising banks and financial institutions on state and federal banking laws, regulatory matters, enforcement actions, and corporate transactions.
Hanchey’s background includes counseling clients on compliance with complex banking regulations related to mergers, acquisitions, capital markets activities, and holding company formations. He also represents banks, holding companies, and individuals in both state and federal enforcement actions, including bank officers, directors, and shareholders involved in government investigations.

Hanchey has received recognition from legal directories for his work in banking and finance law. He is also known for contributing to industry publications and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Before joining Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, he was with Alston & Bird.
